How many of you truly realize that you are not the one behind your emergence and existence..?

I am asking this because I have seen several people who think that this life was pre planned by them and they are so authentic in their claims without knowing that their birth was not by their own choice and similarly their end will also be not their choice, except for suicide. Does not this thought leads to a great truth that we are really nothing?
