What would be the best way to break a horse?

I have a 2 year old gelding that needs to be broken. He is very well trained he loads better than any horse i have ever seen and is amazing at leading and is very laid back. I have put the saddle on but it hasn't been cinched up and he didn't seem to mind it. I have tied a rope around him and he didn't seem to care much. This is my 1st horse to break and i have hear many ideas but i need details on how. Please help me
