Why are these knives illegal?

It only takes one high profile case to get something restricted or banned. If I came to your house and killed you with a peanut er jelly sandwich and if it got enough news 6 months later walmart would require people to be 18 to buy the ingredients. Its just the world we live in.. people want justice and they try to redirect onto something almost unrelated.
