HELP...need answers QUICK...do you think he likes me?

I know this guy and he really cares for me but im not sure if its in a friendly or crushy way. he will help me out on almost anything and is a good friend. all the tests ive taken online have said that he definetly likes me but he sometimes acts the way he acts around me to other girls. i want to give him freedom to do whatever he wants but i really like him and i dont know what to do...ok, ill be a bit more specific. if i am alone, he will walk over and say whats wrong? and if i am feeling bad he will try to comfort me. once he tried to make us get together but i got scared and asked if my friend could come along...we were on the phone and i couldnt read his voice to see if he was disapointed or not. we had not seen each other for a while and we had just recently gone to an open house for school and he hugged me in front of his friend (who teased me relentlessly i might add). also, if you can spare the extra time can you help me look at his face? i mean, i like him so much i cant even look at his eyes (which is super embaring). thanks. :)
